Starting your own business is a huge challenge........

How do you know you're doing the right thing?

Who is there to give you guidance on things you may never have tackled before such as your business plan, marketing plan and legal issues?
As part of the Business Enterprise Works programme you will be allocated a personal
Business Mentor who will guide you through your start-up process. Each of our mentors has first hand experience of setting up their own business, plus an extensive working background providing a variety of specialisms.
Your business mentor's role is to guide you through the areas of business start-up that you are less familiar with and to act as a sounding board, or critical friend. Through a series of mentoring meetings, typically a 1 ½ hour session fortnightly, you will clearly define your business idea, build your business plan and begin to get your product or service out into the market place.
"I have found the mentoring sessions vital to my business. The advice given by my mentor has helped me to focus more on the priorities and make the right decisions. Also, being challenged on decisions that you make is something that doesn't happen when you're working on your own at home" Andy, BEW Client.
